The Annex of Mythimna is a historical listed building known as the " Komninaki-Kralli mansion", built in the beginning of the 19th century. The mansion is a typical example of the local architecture of the 19th century and consists of 3 floors (ground floor, mezzanine and first floor), of 414 sq.m. total surface. On the 1st floor there are 4 rooms with frescoes that date back to 1833 and serve also an open to the public museum.

Facilities include:

• 1 double bedroom for teaching faculty on the 1st floor
• 2 double bedrooms and 1 quadruple room (total of 8 beds) for students and one bathroom on the mezzanine
• 1 living room, 1 kitchen, 1 dining table for accommodating 10 people and 2 shared bathrooms on the ground floor
• 1 three-room building for workshop
• A large yard that surrounds the building, with 2 terraces used by the students as outdoor drawing space
• Wi-Fi is available

Please Note: the annex does not provide central heating and air conditioning (there are only a few portable units for heating & cooling)

ACCESS: 

• Via ferry boat : Daily itineraries from Pireaus port to the port of Mytilini, taking about 10-12 hours.
• Via airplane : Daily direct flights from Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” to Lesvos - Mytilini airport.
• Via bus/car : The car drive to the Annex of Mithimna (Molyvos) from the town of Mytilini, is about 1 -1 ½ hour. Regular bus service is also available.
