The aim of the project is the development, pilot application and implementation of an innovative course for undergraduate and postgraduate students active in the graphic art field (or related ones) on the Socially Responsible Design. The project will respond to the needs of the students and educators in the design field. The project’s interest will focus on 5 key design points: Aesthetics, Ergonomics, Economy, Ecology and Feelings The aim is to equip the students with the necessary qualifications to cope with the labour market and the socioeconomic situation. The implementation of the project will result in significant innovations for the 4 involved universities as new teaching methods, curriculum etc will be introduced. In this framework, the Athens School of Fine Arts will contribute through its big experience in higher education and will offer specialized support through its staff’s experience in the Art& Design and the Multimedia fields. |
